Restorative, Thursday nights 7-8pm

Focus on

  • Hold yin-style poses for one to five minutes to allow the fascia tissue to open and strengthen

  • Relax the sympathetic nervous system

  • Bliss out

Yoga Nidra, Thursday nights 8-8:30pm

Guided relaxation technique

  • Practice of pratyahara - withdrawl of the senses

  • Helps access delta brainwaves, which are responsible for healing and restoration

  • One session is equal to 4 hours of sleep


BEAST Martial Arts

Kids Yoga, Saturdays 1-2pm

  • All kids ages 5-10 welcome

  • We focus on Pranayama (breath), Asana (poses), Pratyahara (in the form of Yoga Nidra) and Dhyana (meditation)

  • Weekly crafts and hands-on activities will make the practice more attainable for kids

  • Working towards self awareness, tools for self regulation and the ability to sit quietly and observe the mind


Active Relaxation Classes, a series brought to you by the Oyster Bay East Norwich PTA

  • Come dressed in comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat

  • $5 suggested donation to OBEN PTA

Active Relaxation is the practice of finding rest in the body and awareness in the mind. Stretches will be done seated or reclined.


Private Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Sound Meditation: 60 minute class in the privacy of your own home or a studio location
